Instructions to make Microwaved Masala Peanuts:
Sieve gram flour or besan to remove any lumps.
Add rice flour and all the spice powder along with salt.
Mix well to combine. Keep aside.
Take peanuts in a mirowave safe bowl and microwave them for 1 minute in high heat.
Take out the bowl and add the gram flour spice mixture. Mix well.
Now add oil and water(1 tablespoon at a time) to the peanuts mixture and mix them well using hand so that each peanut is coated well with the spice mixture.
Add water if necessary during mixing. Try to break any lumps while mixing.
Place the bowl back in the microwave and cook for about 3 minutes.
Take the bowl out and stir the peanuts with a fork carefully so that they cook uniformly.
Place the bowl back in the microwave and microwave again for 3 minutes.
Take out the bowl, stir again and place the bowl back.
Microwave for 1 more minute or till you here some popping sound. Monitor them constantly as cooking time may vary slightly at this stage.
Peanuts will be ready when the coating becomes light golden brown and they start popping in the microwave.
Take out the bowl, transfer the masala peanuts in a tray to cool down.
Store them in airtight container and enjoy with tea any time.
