The ingredients needed to make Pav Bhaji:
  1. Prepare Boiled Aloo
  2. Get Carrot
  3. Make ready Capsicum
  4. Take Matar/ Peas
  5. Make ready Tomatoes
  6. Get Big Size or 3 Small Size Onions
  7. Prepare Ginger
  8. Get Green Chilli
  9. Make ready Some Dhaniya Leaves
  10. Prepare Mustard Oil
  11. Prepare Jeera
  12. Prepare Hing
  13. Prepare Butter
  14. Make ready Spices
  15. Make ready Pav Bhaji Masala
  16. Get Roasted Kasuri Methi
  17. Take Kashmiri Laal Mirch Powder
  18. Get Salt
Steps to make Pav Bhaji:
  1. Grate or mash boiled aloo finely.
  2. Wash Carrot & Capsicum properly, peel off its skin & then chop them in small pieces.
  3. Chop Tomatoes, Onions, Ginger, Green Chillies & Dhaniya Leaves very finely.
  4. Now take a kadhai, add 1 Big Spoon Mustard Oil in it & keep the gas on high flame to burn the oil first.
  5. When smoke starts coming out of Kadhai, turn off the flame & let the oil cool down a bit.
  6. After some time, again turn on the gas & keep it on medium flame.
  7. Now add chopped carrot & capsicum pieces in it & cook them for 3-4 minutes till they turn soft.
  8. After 3-4 minutes, when they turn soft, add 1/2 Cup Matar in it & roast them for 1-2 minutes.
  9. After 1-2 minutes, start mashing them properly.
  10. Now add finely chopped tomatoes in it with 1 Teaspoon Salt so that they start releasing oil quickly.
  11. Now cover the lid & cook them for 5-6 minutes.
  12. After 5-6 minutes, when oil is completely released, add grated or mashed aloo mixture in it & mix them properly.
  13. Now add 1 Table Spoon Pav Bhaji Masala & 1 Teaspoon Roasted Kasuri Methi in it & mix them properly.
  14. Now add 10-20gms Butter in it & cook them for 4-5 minutes.
  15. After 4-5 minutes, take out the Masala mixture & keep it in a bowl.
  16. Now in the same kadhai, add 1 Big Spoon Mustard Oil more in it & keep the gas on high flame to burn the oil first.
  17. When smoke starts coming out of Kadhai, turn off the flame & let the oil cool down a bit.
  18. After some time, again turn on the gas & keep it on medium flame.
  19. Then add 1 Teaspoon Jeera & 1 Pinch Hing in it & let them sizzle.
  20. When they start sizzling, add finely chopped onions in it & roast them till they become translucent/ soft.
  21. After 2-3 minutes, when they turn translucent/ soft, add finely chopped Ginger & Green Chillies in it & roast them for 2-3 minutes.
  22. After 2-3 minutes, add 1 Teaspoon Kashmiri Laal Mirch Powder in it & mix them properly.
  23. Now add Masala mixture in it & mix them properly.
  24. Now cook them for 5-6 minutes on low flame.
  25. In the end, add finely chopped dhaniya leaves in it & mix them properly.
  26. Your Pav Bhaji is ready to be served.
