Pastrami is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It is simple, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. Pastrami is something which I’ve loved my entire life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook pastrami using 8 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Pastrami:
  1. Get 4 lb corned beef
  2. Prepare 4 tbsp ground black pepper
  3. Take 2 tbsp coriander powder
  4. Get 1 tsp mustard powder
  5. Prepare 1 tbsp brown sugar
  6. Take 1 tbsp paprika
  7. Take 2 tbsp garlic powder
  8. Prepare 2 tbsp onion powder
Instructions to make Pastrami:
  1. Soak corned beef in cold water in fridge for 2 days change water every 12 hrs.
  2. Combine all ingredients to make a rub
  3. Pat dry corned beef, remove most fat, coat with vegetable oil, apply rub evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 days, longer is better.
  4. Cooking time: 6hrs smoking@ 225°F plus 2hrs simmer, 8 hrs total.
  5. Chill: Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 12hrs.
  6. When ready to serve, steam heat to tenderize, about 2hrs until heated through to 203°
  7. Slice across grain
