The ingredients needed to make Sabudana Vada:
  1. Take 1 cup sabudana/sago
  2. Make ready 4 boiled potatoes
  3. Get 1/2 cup roasted peanut powder
  4. Get 4-5 finely chopped green chilli
  5. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. Make ready 1/4 tsp sugar
  7. Make ready 2 tbs lemon juice
  8. Make ready 1 tsp rock salt
  9. Prepare As required Oil for frying
Steps to make Sabudana Vada:
  1. Soak the sabudana for 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
  2. Peel the boiled potatoes and smash well.
  3. Mix soaked sabudana, smashed potatoes and roasted groundnut powder in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add finely chopped green chilli, lemon juice, sugar,salt and cumin seeds. Mix well.
  5. Now take small portion (medium size ball)of the mixture and make the flat round vada.
  6. Heat the oil in a kadhai or pan on medium flame.
  7. Fry the vada in the hot oil till golden brown from both sides.
  8. Serve hot with curd or chutney.
