  1. Make ready 300 gm long grain Basmati rice

Steps to make Blue Veg Pulao:
  1. Take 2 tbsps and 1/4 cup hot water in two batches and let the tea steep for at least an hour.
  2. Wash and soak the rice in strained blue tea for at least half an hour.
  3. Heat ghee in a thick bottom pot, once heated add the whole garam masalas and then add the chopped onion, saute and add carrots and beans and saute it.
  4. Add the ginger garlic paste and cook for few minutes, add the salt as per taste and garam masala and cook for another 5 minutes or so, then add the rice soaked in blue tea.
  5. Mix the rice gently and then add the strained blue tea and mix again. Then add the hot water to it.
  6. Cover it with aluminium foil and the lid and cook it for 10 minutes on full flame. Put off the flame and let it rest for another 20-30 minutes and serve it warm /hot with your favourite curries.
  7. Note: *use same measuring cup for rice and water…..the rice and water is in the ratio of 1:2.
