  1. Firstly wash and soak rice. Now peel and clean the peas. Than peel the potatoes and dice. Wash 2-3 times and keep.in.water.
  2. Now make puree if tomatoes with green chillies. Take a pressure cook and heat oil in it. Put cumin seeds, asoefotida, ginger paste, coriander powder and immediately add onions. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes and then add tomato puree.
  3. Now put salt and turmeric powder, mix well and let the tomatoes cook well for 3-4 minutes on low to medium flame. Now add the potatoes and peas. Let it simmer for few minutes on high flame.
  4. Mix well and add 1 glass of water and pressure cook upto 4 whistles.
  5. Meanwhile cook the rice. Once the pressure is released check the seasoning and serve hot garnished with coriander leaves. It also tastes good with roti.
