  8. Make ready 3-4 Green Chillies: Chopped
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
  11. Take 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  12. Take 1 tsp Jaggery
  13. Make ready 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
Instructions to make Lal Mathachi Bhaji or Lal Saag Bhaji:
  1. In a frying pan: Add in the measured oil/ghee- Add in the Garlic & sauté for a minute or two until slightly golden brown in colour
  2. Add in the green chillies, chopped onions, turmeric powder & salt now & keep on sautéing until it all becomes translucent
  3. At this point: Add in the chopped Lal Saag/Math & keep stirring gently but continuously & stir-fry the same
  4. Add in the coconut now, mix well until nicely combined with the rest of the ingredients- sprinkle a very little water, in case it tends to stick to the bottom of the pan
  5. Cover the lid of the pan & allow it to cook for another 5-6 mins time until it’s well fried
  6. Turn off the flame and transfer it to a plate/bowl- Garnish with some more grated coconut & enjoy the same with hot steamed rice or roti/chapati/paratha or similar
  7. Our Lal Saag or Lal Mathachi Bhaji is ready to be served 💁🏻‍♀️
