  5. Simmer for 30 minutes or longer
  6. Serve with shredded cheese, diced onions, or crackers on top. Also can be served over white rice.
  7. If you want to thicken with corn starch add the corn starch to a small amount of cold water and stir before adding to chili or it will be lumpy.
