  1. Take rice in a bowl, soaked them for at least 30 minutes and washed them.
  2. Now take oil in a pressure cooker, add bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, cumin seeds and sauté till turns aromatic. Now add sliced onion and sauté well until they become soft. Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté well.
  3. Now add chopped tomato, peas and sauté until it becomes soft. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, black salt and sauté well on low flame now it turns aromatic. Now add potatoes, mix it well and sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add 2 cups water, salt and mix it well. Now add soaked basmati rice and stir gently. Close the pressure cooker and take 2 whistles. Now Aloo matar mint Pulao is ready to serve. Serve it hot with Raita for best taste :)
