  1. Prepare Peas/ Matar
  2. Take Sliced potatoes(Peeled n sliced)

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, Add cumin seeds.Allow them to sputter. Then add sliced onions.. Saute for 1 minute
  2. Now add ginger garlic and red chilli paste.. Mix and cook until onions gets golden brown
  3. Now add peas.. Mix and cook for 1 minute
  4. Now add spices: Red chilli powder+ Salt+ Turmeric powder
  5. Now add tomato puree..Mix and Cook for 2 minute more
  6. Now add sliced potatoes. Mix and cook for 1 minute and add water (According to your choice)… Mix well and close the lid and pressure cook for 2 whistle….
  7. Aloo matar is ready to serve with rice, roti and parathas
  8. Enjoy with steamed rice
